eurydicebound | Cinco de Mayo!

Today was Cinco de Mayo, which I celebrated by writing until I was ready to fall over; going to meet my friend Misty to catch up, have some coffee, and compare knitting projects; and having taco salad for dinner (as well as celebrating the fact that I'm back on the No Soda train, and this was my first day without in a week. Go me!). The best part about it, though, was that one of my favorite stations, 107.7 Th End, did their entire broadcast today in Spanish. The songs were the same, but all the DJs had to read their stuff in Spanish, or their best attempt thereof. It was hilarious and awesome and pretty darn cool to listen in Spanish all day and be able to make out more than I thought I could. Rough on them, as most of them couldn't actually speak it and were just reading from scripts, but they were game and gave it a hell of a try. Good for them. :)
