The Year of Cons

So. Oddly enough, it looks as though I'm attending conventions this year. I will be at Norwescon this year. It's also looking like I'll be at GenCon for Friday and Saturday, and that I'll even be at Origins -- no one else will be there, apparently, but I will be. :) This naturally assumes I can get the money straightened out for airfare and whatnot, but I'm actually feeling fairly upbeat about that at the moment.

If you're attending one of these events and you'd like to get together at some point, let me know. It'd be fun to see people again. :)

I might go to Norwescon. Haven't been so far. I will definitely go to Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, and likely to Emerald City Comicon.

I'm not even sure where Gencon or Origins take place!

Origins Game Fair is in Columbus, OH. GenCon is in Indianapolis.

Ah ... doubt I shall be at either, then. If I do a big trip this year, it'll be back to Massachusetts (haven't been back since I moved here in October of 2005). If I were going to do a big con trip this year, I'd probably try to go to WorldCon in Montreal.

Origins, eh? Cool. I should be there, come hell or high water :) Keep me posted, we'll hang. Hopefully we'll have the Rock Band Party Room going again this year :)
