Today is my birthday, and despite all odds, it's turning out rather well.

Four days ago, I thought all festivities would have to be foregone because I was broke. Three days ago, I got a check in that covers nearly all my monthly bills AND lets me have a birthday. Yay me. :) Yesterday, I bought the stuff for my birthday cake and things, and got my "surprise" present from David of coming in and finding he'd opened my internet browser to Coldwater Creek.com and said, "go shopping." So I raided their "we really want to get rid of this stuff" section and came away with about $60 in new clothes, including a dress that I'd liked for a long time that was down to $15 from $80.
Today I have baked a cake, and tonight my parents are taking us out to dinner. This weekend I get to go out with my husband and celebrate. It's a good, good day.

Oh, and my husband observed yesterday that I look about ten years younger than the teller at the bank (who was a year ahead of me in high school). Can't beat that when you're turning 32. :)

Anyway, I hope everyone else is having a wonderful day too. *big cheesy grin*

Hmm. Dunno if I am or not. I certainly wouldn't object to well wishes, though. I think I've sort've fallen off the horizon at MV, just because I've been too busy to do much posting. I still try to visit when I can eke out the time, though. :)
