1) I want a Coke, damnit. We shall see if my willpower lasts out the night. My house is currently filled with good drinkables, like Good Earth herbal tea, metromint water, fruitwater, apple cider, orange juice, etc. None of this seems to be helping. Bah.
2) I need a dog sitter for the week of Christmas. I can't afford to board Rosie, unfortunately, but I can afford some renumeration for time spent. She really is a good girl. If anyone reading this is going to be in town that week and wouldn't mind popping by once or twice a day (I can possibly line up two people for once a day each if it comes to that, even if it's just for a day or two) and possibly doing walkies (or at least letting her loose in the yard for a while), please respond and/or email me. Heck, if someone wanted to watch her at their place for that time, I'd be open to that too. Any help at all is welcome, though. I can't stay behind, unfortunately, as the plane tickets have long been bought by parents and if I don't go, the grandkids don't go, and that's not acceptable.
3) I'm stressed about the dance solo thing. I can't seem to get it the way it should be, and I'm afraid it's going to look like crap. I'm also behind on the dress sewing. Tomorrow will catch me up on that, if I'm lucky, but for everything else, we'll have to see. Bah. I also keep thinking of the money I'd get back if I just took the fabric back to the store... and if I weren't unemployed, that wouldn't matter. Sigh. Ah well. It's not really enough to make a huge difference anyway.
