OMG Clubbing!

I went to a club tonight -- a goth/industrial club at that! I did not stick out like a sore thumb, I was not the oldest one there, and I did not dance -- I rocked back and forth in my seat a bit, but that was the extent of it. This, sad to say, the first time I've been to a club in... well, years and years. Certainly the first time I've ever been where I was invited and people were happy/noticed I came. It was a lot of fun, and I'm really glad I went. Hopefully it won't be the last time. :)

We're glad you could make it! There will be other such outings, I'm certain, though they're usually few and far between thanks to conflicting schedules and other ridiculous "real life" impediments. ;)

Hey, good for you. I know what you mean ... I can't recall the last time I went to a club -- might have been in the last century!

I assume the only reason you didn't dance was your back? 'Cause you're supposed to be the dancing type, what with your lessons and all.

Me? I tend to sit there out of timidity.

Did they play cool music? I used to sort of be into the goth thing ... though more on the metal side.

Well, one part was my back, and one part was the obligatory "stay close to friends in unfamiliar territory" first visit thing. Next time I'll feel much more dance-inclined, I'm sure.
