Gee, I've not updated in a while. At least, not with anything of substance. Let's see what we have in the recap, shall we?

In no particular order:

One of the member's of my team at work has been let go, thanks to the end of fiscal year rearranging. On the one hand, it wasn't me. On the other hand, some people were expecting that it would be as I am technically low on the status pole (if high on skill, natch). On yet a third hand, the person doing the leaving is the most disorganized sumbitch EVAR, and I am on the cusp of manslaughter even as we speak as I'm being thrown headlong into an upcoming project with no existing documentation. Unfortunately in this regard, I am not in Texas, and thus the "he needed killin'" defense would not apply.
I am working on an editing project.
I have a short writing project.
I really have to get back to my novel.
I received a bonus check. Awesome.
Tomorrow I go in and hear Alisdair's diagnosis, and hopefully some suggestion for where we go from here. We shall see if an EEG is deemed necessary.
I baked sugar cookies this past weekend.
