It has been a freaky week thus far, let me tell you. Walls have turned into doors, previously clear vistas have turned into walls, and the merry-go-round doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Oh, and at least one friend is suddenly saying goodbye -- it's good for her, but I'm sad nonetheless. At this point, I'm afraid of what the weekend will bring lest my landlords decide I have to move in a week while all my clothing is at the drycleaners and the lottery check is still in the mail.

Damn.

Well, I can't promise it at this point, but there's a slim possibility I'll have a spare ticket to this Saturday's Mariners/Red Sox game ... decent seats, too.

Crap -- now I feel like an ass for dangling it out there (the ticket, not my ass!). Pretty soon after I sent that post to you, my friend Joe, for whom I ordered the ticket months ago, finally got back to me and said he is planning to go. Hence, now no extra ticket.

I had been trying to get in touch with him for a few days about it, and hadn't heard back, so I thought he might have gone on one of his many out-of-town trips and forgotten the game was this weekend.

We could certainly hang out or go to a game another time, if you like! I got nothing Sunday, though I could always do chores, etc.

Sorry about that. I suck!

But I knew you liked baseball and the Ms, so I figured you'd be a good person to take.
