Good: Finished the adventure I had been working on. It is sent off. Things are good.
Bad: I've got a halo in my vision which means a possible migraine approaching. I may have stinted a bit on the end just to make sure I could send it off, but I think it works. I've already taken medicine. With luck, it'll just be a minor annoyance and an early bedtime. I think cooking dinner tonight may be right out, though. Feh.

Date: 2007-08-05 06:43 am (UTC)From:One evening, I noticed a floater in my vision. Well, I couldn't *not* notice it - it was large, C-shaped, and shimmering like it was made out of crystal. Eventually, it left my vision. It came back the next day. I called the doctor (couldn't remember when my yearly checkup was supposed to be) and they told me to come on in the next day. There's nothing in my eyes, so the diagnosis was "ocular migraine:" the funky visual effects without the earth-shattering headache.
I'm glad I never got the headache part. I hope you skipped yours as well.

Date: 2007-08-05 06:49 am (UTC)From:It didn't turn into a full migraine, no. There was a time when one always followed the other, but these days I seem to get the vision thing without the full-blown head pain as often as not. It's always worse if I don't take medicine as soon as I realize what's going on with my vision, so I try not to ignore that.
Glad you got to skip the migraine portion of the program. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
