Random lightning bolts

So after two months of not so much as a "thanks, but no thanks" and 200+ resumes into the void, someone has written back to my husband, asking him if he'd be interested in a job other than the one he applied for. He is a perfect fit for said second job, and the recruiter asked him to rewrite his resume a bit to highlight the skills they're looking for. All good news so far.
The kicker?
It's in Maynard, Massachusetts. A stone's throw or so from Concord and Walden Pond, and about 25 miles from the heart of Boston. It's about 10,000 people big, and they have a frickin' game store, just in case wonders never cease. And they'd need him to relocate, naturally. It's undetermined yet whether they'd be willing to offer relocation for it, but we're willing to do it ourselves over a few months as necessary. So long as we're there before winter really settles in, it's all good.
So.... yeah. I have no idea if they'll offer it to him. I don't know what we'll do either way. I'm pretty certain that we'd all be going, as it would at least not be in my parent's house. I couldn't make it there on my own on my pay alone, but I'd always have here to come back to if push came to shove, and alimony stuff is always an option. And... it's Massachusetts! East Coast! Close to people (relatively) that I'd no hope of ever visiting on my own! So keep fingers crossed, okay? If nothing else eased the urge to shift my belongings across the pond, this does.
