On my recent trip to San Francisco, my friends could tell I'd lost weight! The hourglass is beginning to resurface, and I'm quite pleased about it. I haven't been shopping in a while, but from how my pants fit, I daresay I'm firmly one size down from my former one. Since making a few tweaks to my diet, I've been noticing more of a difference. My initial weight has not changed much at all, but I have muscle definition now where I didn't before. It's a good, good thing. And, to top it all off, I just finished my first 25 minute cardio session on a non-workout day! I had gotten up to 20 minutes (I try to do it two days during the week when I don't have workouts scheduled and once during the weekend) semi-regularly, but this is the first time I'd managed to break that barrier.
I am very pleased with myself. In August there will be travel and friends to see and all manner of good things, and I might actually be ready for it. Yay. :)
