Five headaches, five days in a row. Not migraines, just really frickin' annoying tension headaches that seem to hang on until I hit them with the hot bath/ibuprofen/map combo. This really sucks. Today's is not so heinous as previous days have been, but I can feel it there in the background nonetheless. I've never had stuff like this before. Bah. Humbug. Especially as the two culprits that spring to mind are the stress surrounding my impending separation/divorce and being unable to resolve anything on it right now, and the cat. Both will likely be leaving my house at the same time, so I don't know that I'll be able to figure out which it is. Maybe both. The headaches typically start at work or on the way home, roughly mid-afternoon, and the rash on my hand (which started at about the same time) itches more when I pet the cat. Sigh.

Have discovered that I will need to alter the red top a bit, as it's a tank top that was made for someone far more endowed than I, and gaps a bit too much when I'm not careful. Not that I really have a great deal of objection to flashing a bit of cleavage to cute guys taller than me (or standing when I'm sitting, etc.) but it's not really work appropriate. :) Love the guys at Wizards, but not that much (nor do I believe they would wish me to, as a whole. An amazingly married group of people, R&D is. It's quite nice).

Today the kids are over at a friend's house. David's out playing Warmachine with some guys from Privateer Press, which is very cool and I'm glad for him. Sort of wish it were me, as they seem quite cool, but I think it good that David and I have some circles of friends that don't cross. There's also the fact that I don't want it to be a regular enough event that I have to arrange babysitting for it. While I enjoy playing Warmachine, I feel like if I'm going to get babysitting, it's a rare enough event that I'd rather use it for something else instead, like going to a movie or someplace downtown or just getting to write and clean my house in peace for a while. Maybe after we split up that will be different, but for now this is the way it is.

Oh, and having [livejournal.com profile] mearls at work is funny. His desk is literally on the other side of the cube wall from mine. I need to find objects I can lob at him unexpectedly. :)
