Last week had no dance lessons, as a number of other life issues got in the way. I am sad about this, but this next week should see me back in the swing of things. I have to devote Monday morning to getting the other half of my paycheck paid post haste (all my own fault, sad to say) so no gym then. I'm aiming for Tuesday. My alarm is now set for 7 AM, no matter what, and I managed to get up and around on Friday when I got the kids to the dentist (I have to make an appointment for Al with the orthodontist... yes, it's likely that time already, joy of joys). With that as my guide, Tuesday and Wednesday look do-able. If I can do that, then along with the dancing I'll have 3-4 workouts a week. Not as good as if I had 5-6, but you have to start somewhere.

I had my glass class on Thursday. I just now completed the first part of the homework assignment -- finishing grinding all the pieces. Glass grinding is kinda fun and kinda sucks, all in one. It's fun to watch the whole thing come together. It sucks to wind up with glass bits everywhere. I feel like I'm covered with itty bitty pieces of glass now, which I probably am. I definitely need to get a better/more covered/more waterproof workspace. Now I soak the pieces of glass to wash them, soak off the paper and number them, and then I apply the copper foil to all of them -- but that's probably later tonight in front of the TV.

Last night I went out and played pool with Tarisse and Aimee. It was a lot of fun. I have my moments where I am really on, but they're still not terribly consistent. I need to go back and play again.

The novel is slouching toward the end of chapter 2. I have tightened up some loose areas (a couple remain) and have mostly figured out the ending of the chapter. I have the overall plot points and actions for this chapter covered, but I have to find a good transition. The characters are now in play, and the end of this chapter determines the tone that will be set the next time they meet. I want to make sure it isn't lame. :)

I am discovering that between the above activities and the upcoming (that I've missed both planning sessions for) LARP, my evenings are remarkably full. This is probably for the best.
