Head explody.

Yesterday I made... well, cookies, as you can see on iamnikchick's LJ, complete with pics! I made three types of cookies, in fact. Israeli spice egg cookies, Mexican chocolate-pepper cookies, and cranberry-walnut bars. Of the three, the hands down favorite were the chocolate-pepper cookies. Wow. I had wine and made friends and ended up watching Irma la Douce, which I had not actually seen before now. Quite fun. I also came home with two bins full of cookies, including nut balls and crescents and spritz cookies and Earl Grey shortbread and lemon-rosemary cookies and chocolate rads.... geez. Lots. I've already made up a care package for my landlords to enjoy. All very good, though.

Today I discovered that the LA Fitness in Renton has closed because their new Renton location has opened instead. I went over there with the intention of exercise, but when they say new, they mean NEW. Everything is still off-gassing, there's chemicals in the air, and even the wide-open front doors aren't helping all that much. I walked around and saw stuff and it all looks very pretty, but I had a headache before I even touched a machine, so I just left. I'll try going when I get back from Oklahoma. It should be better then. Got some other useful stuff done today too, so I'm pleased.

I just finished dishes. I have to go to the grocery store, but I think I'll go get the boys and then hit the store on the way home, so I have time to make dinner. Rosie needs more dog food, so I can't put it off much longer. Gotta take some advil or something, though. Ow.
