Winter break!

I'm not entirely sure I can successfully sum up two weeks in a reasonably sized LJ post, but I'll give it a shot. We'll use a sort of bulletpoint approach. (Posted behind a cut because someone on my friends list was generally unhappy about long posts, and I felt generous and wished to make their life easier. ;) )
