Feb. 14th, 2008 10:25 pmI just received an invitation to apply for Phi Theta Kappa. PTK is the International Honor Society of Two Year Colleges. Basically Phi Beta Kappa but for junior/community college.
Me. In College. Honor Society. Me, of the totally blown scholarship. Me, of the this
("> <") close to flunking previous total undergrad GPA back in the day. I'm just.... wow. I know, this is not, in the great scheme of things, a huge deal. It really isn't. But it just feels so damn good to have some sort of recognition that I did not fuck it up this time, that I've been doing at least some of what I am capable of.
I'm really proud of myself. :)
