It's 3 AM, I just finished my paper and my portfolio for my classes for tomorrow on 12 oz of Coke.

I'm going to bed.

Screw WotC.

I just got the news when checking my email between classes. I am amazingly pissed off over it, almost more than I was when it happened to me. For my affected friends who are reading this, I am so, so sorry.

Whew.

Turned in my paper and my class portfolio. Have a paper due on Thursday, and got verification that yes, I did rather run amuck in my proposal and that yes, I do sort of have to scrap half of it and begin anew. Ah well. It would be a cool essay, but not the assignment that was asked for.

My landlord brought me over a Christmas present full of homemade goodies, including a whole slew of sweet bay leaves. Totally giving them a plate of Christmas cookies.

Holiday party is Saturday night. One of my coworkers emailed me today after the reminder went out, saying "Hey, could you sing something from Phantom of the Opera?" (our party has karaoke). Not asking for much, are they? I'm not entirely sure I can get through one of the numbers without embarrassing myself, but I'm trying to do a bit of research. I might, depending on the key and how limber/screwed up my voice is at the time. It's tough being a mezzo in a soprano's world. We'll see. And, btw, is it not odd to come up with real requests that don't involve drunken crowds, embarassing songs, or Lynnard Skynnard for karaoke, especially in advance? I'm sort of flattered, but nonplussed. Can't quite get past the idea that someone would like to hear me sing, on purpose even.

Have a test and a paper due on Thursday. The class with the test is the class that's devolved into something close to but not entirely like a clusterfuck. Nobody knows how they're going to do on this one, as the replacement teacher was supposed to abide by the grading and testing setup the first teacher had, but she doesn't understand it, isn't comfortable with it, and wasn't there for about half the material taught on this test... it'll be interesting.

Anyway. That's my day. I'm gonna go fall over now. G'night.
