[diet] Day 14
Jun. 11th, 2009 11:18 amDay 14! This makes two weeks. Go me. As of today I can get up to three servings of carbs per day and three servings of fruit, but honestly I'm pretty happy with what I've been doing. Not too concerned about it. I am still losing weight (the tape measure this morning had dropped below the next inch marker) and I'm pleased with my progress. Onward and upward, I guess. :) I'll weigh again tomorrow and see where I'm at.
Breakfast: 2 wholegrain organic frozen waffles I desperately need to get out of my freezer. 2 patties veggie sausage. 1 can V-8. About 2 tbsp agave nectar drizzled over the waffles instead of syrup. 3/4 cup chocolate soy milk.
Snack: None. Breakfast was both late and substantial.
Lunch: Iced tea w/ some sugar -- should have put stevia packets in my purse. I'll remember that next time. BBQ pork -- nibbled at bun but mostly used fork. Cabbage cole slaw. Sweet potato fries -- they were fried, but what can you do? At least they weren't regular potatoes. Was surprised at how little it took for me to get full, and that I really didn't miss the bun on the sandwich at all. Go me.

Dinner: 1 piece fried chicken (a wing) from Ezell's, the local OMG-that's-good chicken place. 1/2 cup mashed potatoes with a drizzle of gravy. 1 white roll. Iced tea.
Snack: 2 handfuls of cherries, 1 wedge of Laughing Cow cheese, 3 whole grain crackers.
