Oct. 22nd, 2009 11:55 pmFor hair: Go see Kursten @ Helmet Head salon in Georgetown. She's really reasonable and really skilled. I got my haircut today and got three random complements in one day. :)
For skin: Go see Noelle @ Helmet Head salon in Georgetown. She's really good at all that aesthetician stuff, from brow shaping to skin stuff to facial stuff. Plus, she plays good music and she's very nice. And she knows wax can hurts and does her best to make it hurt less. And she puts sunscreen on you before you go. And she has these cool little cold blue light-bulb looking things to make it all hurt less.
Got my hair cut today. Also got some teriyaki today and applied for graduation with the English department. I have to do it again for the humanities degree, but that'll likely be tomorrow -- or maybe Monday. Went to talk to my professor and got back just enough points to change my C to a B on this test thanks mostly to figuring out what format of answer she is looking for, and for caring enough to show up and ask about it in the first place. Went to class and spent a long time looking at Whistler and Sargent's work... very nice stuff. I really like this class.
Pretty good day, overall with only minimal illness. Very nice for a change. :)
