The push begins.

The push for the end of the semester now begins in earnest. I am going to be in Seattle visiting my children for the last week of class. I've got that unfortunate organizational thing going wherein my brain keeps sending alarms that this is due soon, and there is no more time to procrastinate, but I find it impossible to actually figure how much time actually exists, and so while I do work on it, I also do some dishes and put away clothes and eventually drift off to play some Xbox. This is not optimal, but until I can find a way to make my brain manage itself better, it is what I do. I must be done before Seattle, though, or at least all but done. I will not get work done while I'm with my boys, so I must finish beforehand. I can't write a 10-12 pg research paper in two days.... it just won't happen. I can revise a first draft, so if worst comes to worst, that's what I'll do. That means getting the first drafts done, though.

Argh. I'm workin' on it, I promise.
