Am up stupidly early after staying up stupidly late. My body is definitely doing that thing again where I don't sleep and I don't eat much. I hate that. I made myself have dinner last night, but after I did I wished I hadn't. Probably won't tonight. Have a meeting this morning to discuss picking Alisdair's new school, so I won't be going back to bed, either.

Took my first final last night. Thanks be to this profesor, who wants you to show that you read the material but doesn't want to punish you for having read it (his words), so his test was 21 excerpts that you then had to match with the right title. Oh, and 4 multiple choice questions. I was done in about 10 minutes and out the door not long thereafter, and that was with rereading and taking my time. Between my memory and process of elimination, it's all good.

Anyway. Such is life.

Good luck with the school meeting. For what it's worth -- I can't remember which district your kids are in, but if they're in Seattle, I've heard from families at AS #1 (as1web.com, a K-8 school) that it does a great job of integrating and accommodating kids with Aspergers/HFA type issues. The school's WASL scores are horrific (largely because the majority of parents opt their kids out of testing and those are averaged in as zeros), and I don't think it's anywhere near geographically convenient for you, but the families I know there are incredibly happy about how excited there kids are about learning, and how much easier (and healthier) it's been for their kids to not have developmentally silly expectations placed on them (like sitting still almost all day).
