No job for me. Apparently the interview was great, but they were concerned I'd be bored, so they gave it to the other woman who interviewed that day. That's the first time I've ever interviewed too well. Argh.

Welcome to my world. I'm so sorry, girl.

They said that to your face?! That's some cheek.

Arrgghh indeed. I've had that happen a few times, too. It's like, let ME decide whether I'll be bored (and whether I'm okay with that). But it never seems to work that way.

The suck, it is an entire bucket. I'm sorry. :(

When I was hired for a job once, they expressed concern that I would be bored by it. I needed the dough, so I said don't worry about it. They fired me three months later because I was so bored my bad attitude about the job was impossible to hide.

I wonder how they determined that you would be bored. Wonder if your resume was too snazzy for them.

Either way, rejection sucks and I hope something better appears out there.

They determined I'd be bored because it was a semi-glorified prop monkey position (people would write content and give it to me and I'd put it on the page on the staging server. Someone else would approve it and put it live). Given what I'd done before, it was a step back. But I really didn't care, given that it paid $25 an hour. Ah well.
