Got my check today, a few days late and a few resulting dollars short as money that was supposed to be the slim bit of extra that tided me over got eaten in overdrafts because said check was late. . Suspect that in one short night of paying bills what needed paying, I may have spent it all. Note that I have not paid all the bills what needed paying. Oh well. I'll be getting my financial aid at the beginning of next month, along with one more check from this job before then.
In the meantime... yeah. Working on getting work. Not much else to be done about it all. It was a really, really good job. I find myself hoping they decide to make an expansion to Aion soon and invite us all back -- it was a really good team.
Washed the dog tonight. That's awesome, except that it means I still need to clean the tub again. Erk. The joys of dog ownership.
Really need to get some plane tickets purchased. Really need to keep studying on the GRE. Really need to find a way to get a couple of hours to myself per day, as I can't take a timed 2-3 hour practice test while I'm being mom. These two things are simply not compatible.
Broke down and bought a used Wii Fit today, as I got a deal I couldn't refuse and my fresh paycheck (prior to bill paying) was burning a hole in my pocket. Also, I suspect I will not be able to renew my gym membership any time in the near future... I have to do something. Time to start driving up to the university gym on the weekends, then, I guess. Must vacuum the floor again and get some new batteries this weekend.
