So when I first moved to Seattle, I was fortunate enough to get into an amazingly good gaming group. we played Firefly using the d20 Modern system (in no small part because the group consisted of most of The Game Mechanics, who published d20 Modern material through Green Ronin back in the day).
As a "good luck" present, Rich Redman (fellow Firefly gamer) typed up all the quotes he'd written down from the game for me and sent them in an email. Some are attributed, some aren't, but all are funny -- at least to me. :) I will present them here, to you, for your enjoyment and edification as well.
Jeff = Kevin, pilot
Andy = Hymie, engineer
Erin = Gina doctor/medic
Mat = Cooper, captain
Marc = Ermo, "salvage specialist"
Michelle = Pru, soldier
Rich = Cane, Shepherd
JD = DM
Of note, as per my memories of the game (slightly cloudy):
Kevin could fly almost anything, though landing it was slightly more questionable.
Cooper was the captain and owner (mostly) of our ship, the Lucky Frog. He was elderly and somewhat frayed around the edges. I think he was going for older Clint Eastwood but sometimes seemed closer to "ready for the nursing home."
Gina was the doc/medic. She was the most sensible of us all, frankly.
Hymie was the engineer/mechanic. His fondest hope was to build his own "companion" some day.
Ermo was the ""salvage specialist,"" whose job it was to make sure we made money. He was also somewhat sensible, if a touch on the "ethically challenged" side. He also thought fairly far outside the box, enough so that sometimes we lost the box altogether.
Pru was the muscle. She was fairly good at what she did, but she was really reluctant to kill anybody. This frequently annoyed her shipmates, but since only one or two others could shoot remotely straight, they weren't eager to part company with her. She was also wanted by the Alliance.
Cane was the Shepherd. We weren't really sure why he was there, but he was signed up to bring a moral compass to the ship and showed no signs of leaving, however much we hoped for it.

- I don’t care if he ascended into Heaven, he still owes for the fare.
- Marc: I’m in round two of my sultry dance of belt-removal.
- You don’t like my dice of mixed ethnicity?
- We’ve got a hull breach. I figure that’ll stop when I close the door.
- 1. There’s a reason why I didn’t go out with you.
2. Because I’m straight! - 1. I don’t have to take this kind of harassment.
2. What kind would you prefer? - “Idjit” is Chinese for “much appreciated comrade”
- JD: It’s gonna take you 3 Slavicsek units to get to another planet.
- Me: I kept an Alliance officer busy for four rounds, and all you can do is bitch.
Rich: You could have killed him in one. - I thought you were going to use your speaky-mojo.
- Marc: I rolled a 23, and by 23 I mean a 21.
- My Wealth score is can you loan me five bucks.
- We should repaint the ship. Can Kevin fly through something purple?
- Have Kevin land us where you don’t crash into anything immediately.
- Marc: I’ve premade some little dynamite thingies.
- Andy: I built a robot dog…that looks like a spider.
- If we have light sabers, I’m making toast.
- Are you some kind of Sith commie?
- By avoiding certain areas, [Hymie] is helping [keep the ship clean].

I did the same thing for our Star Wars campaign.
