Nah, it's "woke up this morning with a not-quite-migraine" related. A friend bought me a coke, though, and that helped a bit. At least until I had to climb the stairs back to my office.
Motrin, Tylenol or Aleve... some water... and aromatherapy. That's my recommendation. (Bath & Body Works, for example, used to have "headache pulse point therepy." Peppermint oil and such that you roll on your temples and whatnot to help the headache go away.)
If you were at home, though, I'd say "nap in a dark room." My guess is that you currently don't have that luxury, thus the rec's.
As it is, my remedies have included Advil, water, coke, lunch (roasted chicken, cooked carrots, whole wheat bread, and mashed garlic red potatoes), and Altoids. It's not peppermint oil, but it'll have to do.
And no, I'm not at home. I was out a half-day yesterday for my kids being sick, so I'm pretty much stuck here for the rest of this week if I don't want a huge bite out of my paycheck.
