Everything's quiet.

Rosie is not here. She's at the vet today, getting her reproductive rights curtailed along with receiving various immunizations. I went out to do errands after dropping her off, and when I got home, I was struck by the lack of happy dog greeting. I am sad.

On the other hand, my living room seems much larger.

I think that happy dog greetings trump perceived space, though.

When our oldest dog Disney got fixed all the way home from the vet was a non-stop dog litany of craziness. She "talked" all the way home. A few years later when we got Warner and her fixed Disney "talked" at Warner all the way home. It was like "did the aliens kidnap and experiment on you too?"
