Down with the Sickness, part 2

You know how I said yesterday that I was not yet laid low by this cold/flu/whatnot? Lo, how the mighty and overly optimistic have fallen. I've been running a fever since last night, which means that I'm constantly light headed and that my motor skills suck ass. Alisdair has it too, although I think he's doing a little better than I am. We're at home together today. So, third day of my new job, and I've been out sick for two of them. Gotta love it. Better than bringing the pestilence with me to work, though.

Ugh ... doesn't sound fun. Other than that, though, how's the new job going?

Believe it or not, I seem to have signed myself up to do more proofreading at Lionbridge. Well, I'll be doing most of it from here (Adobe) or home, I guess.

Why do I do these things to myself? Oh yeah ... money.

Well, personally I think you should bring the pestilence to the office. If they didn't want your pestilence, they'd give you paid sick days.
