My dog is running around like... well, a mad dog.

I've got the door open and Rosie is very excited. I just got back from doing laundry and catching up on my reading for school. She is now zipping in and out of the house and around the yard like a running thing that's decided to run. She's got this half-crazed "I've got the need for SPEED!!!" look in her eye, and brief pauses for petting are followed by yet again more running.

I'm so amused.

Atalanta, my cat, has been doing that a lot lately, zipping back and forth with no discernible reason or cause. I find it amusing, as does my wife (when she doesn't find it annoying).

Not sure what's gotten into her furry little head, but....
