Problem solved.

I went to the Garage bowling and billiards parlor. I got there before the rush, so there were plenty of tables (all full size).

Things I have learned:

1) I like/can drink hard cider. Thank god, something I can go out and drink casually that isn't a mixed drink (quality varies, always expensive) or beer (which I don't like).

2) Yes, I still mostly suck at pool. The second game was better than the first, though. If I start practicing regularly, it'll get better.

3) I need to make friends who like to go play pool. By myself is okay, but it's not as much fun as it could be.

4) The Garage makes a great salad. Mmm.

Sorry you caught me at a bad night/time. I'd just awoken from a nap, and was feeling pretty fuzzy.

I like to play pool -- ain't great at it anymore, but it's fun.

No problem. I wasn't concerned about it. I've had nights like that too. :) I'm going to try to do it more often now that I've gotten past the "Aaaaaagh! New Place!" reaction, so maybe you can come hang out another night.
