... Scheduled an EEG for Alisdair. It's an "awake and drowsy" EEG, which means he can only have 4 hours sleep the night before. FOUR HOURS. Have you ever tried to keep a 9 yr old up all night? Oh, and no caffiene (soda, coffee, tea, chocolate) after midnight. Oy veh.

... Looking seriously at trying for Clarion West. Talked to the ex, whose response was "Oh, sure. That might suck a bit, but we could handle it." Totally not what I was expecting the answer to be, which was "this will be an insurmountable problem." I suck at predicting this stuff. The pondering continues. Cory Doctorow will be teaching there next year. I am all about that. Daaamn.

... Therapy for boy is expensive. :(

... Um... can't think of much else. Need a haircut, have tomatoes growing, need to pick up a dessert for tonight.... gah.

As far as therapy goes, if there's a university in your area that has a speech-language pathology program, you might be able to get services there for a reduced rate. Of course, you get a reduced rate because you get student clinicians, but that doesn't necessarily mean bad service, just folks without a lot of experience. Just something to consider.
