The greatest thing about this site is that part of the agreement is when you put your information in, it fills it into a big database. That means that if someone enters something that seems to match up with an entry already there, it pings them, shows what's there, and offers to add it in. A day of futzing around with it and entering all the relatives I could think of traces one of my great-great-grandmothers' lines back to the Jamestown colony. I'm flabbergasted, especially as no one in my family knew much about that particular line of the family. It's really spiffy. I ponied up the $20 for a month's membership, and it's totally been worth it even if I don't keep it for more than a month altogether. So. Totally. Cool.

Yeah, luckily one of my ancsestors had an... unusual name, and so it's amazing how much they were able to add to what I know about her side of the family tree.

That's what happens when your parents name you Lula Perlina. :p
