William loves baseball. I promised him this year I'd be on time getting him signed up in a league so he could play. I remembered that signups were late Jan-early Feb this year, so I started looking today.
As I did, two things occurred to me. First, Evidently every little league team in Seattle's got a website EXCEPT for the one for the area we live in. And boundaries are strictly enforced, so there's no going a little bit south or west to join up with them. Two, the boys' birth certificates are missing in action, which means until we get copies, I can't sign Will up without one, and I can't get one here in time -- I was going to order new copies after I got paid, but I won't be paid until after the sign-up period is over. Given that the birth certificates were not in my care when they were lost, I am a bit annoyed right now.

I had similar excitement getting one for Stone from Seattle to register him for school, and then one for myself from Florida to get my CA driver's license.
