Random stuff

I'm sick. Have been sick all weekend. Not the stomach flu type of sick, just the "sleep 16 hours out of 24" type sick. My tonsils and sinuses have conspired to become the Scylla and Charibdis of my upper respiratory tract, and my body heat alone could solve half the nation's heating issues in winter, if there were only a way to harness that power for good instead of evil. I'm slowly getting better, though. Today I'm starting actually cough up bits of sinus crap and I'm starting off the day mostly non-feverish. We'll see how things progress. Still have no appetite and my energy is for shit, but that might yet improve.

Alisdair and Will have formed a new band and named it the Impact Dogs. I believe they have their stuffed animals on drums and backup singing, both of which happen to be dogs, hence the name.

Finished up a couple of lingering assignments yesterday, which pretty much left me lingering in an "ooh, that spot of wall is fascinating" state for the rest of the day.

In the movie A Chorus Line, which I watched yesterday, I realized that the guy I had a crush on back as a teenager when I watched the show (Charles McGowan as "Mike") bore more than a passing resemblance to the guy I later married. I showed it to David, but he doesn't see it. Then again, he never sees such things. I don't care. I see it.
