I was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] mysticalforest, my coworker, who said "You need new icons." Therefore, I went out and found new icons, and lo I have added them to my journal. They're addictive little suckers, let me tell you. I've got about 6 more on my system that I can't upload to my LJ account, more's the pity. I need to take some of my WoW characters and what not too, but that would be all useful and stuff, so it's unlikely to happen. :)

Yay: I cleaned part of the children's room. I bought a couple of little fabric cubbies at Target and came home and put all the little odds and ends and small stuffed animals and action figures and whatnot into them, and lo, their room was much cleaner. This weekend should see a continuation of this theme.

Boo: My living room is still a total pit. I have clean clothes all over my couch, I have papers scattered everywhere and I'm so annoyed by it. Bah.

Yay: I went yesterday and picked up my books for my classes. I can already tell I won't be keeping any of them, but that's okay. :) At least I have them and I'll be ready for school to start at the beginning of April.

Boo: I hate Counterstrike-style games because I SUCK at playing them, and yet I must. Bah.

Yay: The antibiotics seem to be working, as I do not now fall over from fatigue immediately upon returning home from work. Also, my voice sounds more like me.

Boo: My ears are still plugged up about half the time.

Yay: I'm finally back at work enough to get paid.

Boo: I won't be seeing the paycheck for this first full week of work for another two weeks. Slim pickings in the meantime indeed. Bah.

Yay: I enjoy saying "Bah" when I'm frustrated. It makes me feel better. Bah. :)

I've been watching this show fairly faithfully since it began. I missed the last couple of weeks, though, so I was pleased to learn they were on this evening. Of the two episodes:

Walls: I was prepared for this to be pretty weak, but really it was quite possibly the strongest one yet. Terrence Mann is an incredible actor -- too good for a Sci-Fi show, frankly, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Storm Front: I've been looking forward to this one since the beginning of the series, as it's the adaptation of the first novel. Now that it's here, though... I'm not as fond of it. No Bob. I don't give a damn about Dresden's cat, who is finally here. I find myself primarily interested in seeing the continuity between this and other episodes, but not so much in the episode itself, which disappoints me. It's not bad, mind you.... I just like the others better. This was evidently the first one filmed, and as such there are continuity issues between this and the rest of the episodes. I find them pretty jarring, unfortunately. I'll live through it, though.

Over all, I'm really happy with the series. I hope they pick it up for next season. :)
