So I really, really want to go out tonight. Dear God, do I want to leave my house behind this evening.
Problem 1 -- I have limited funds.
Problem 2 -- No available friends to go out with me.
Problem 3 -- I suck. Or rather, I've got a bit of social anxiety crap and I'm shy around people I don't know -- which unless I bring friends with me is everyone.
Things being considered:
Columbia City Beatwalk. Cheap to do plus nifty music and such, but not so much to actually do. Also, I will end up speaking to no one and no one will speak to me. I will, however, get to go give the art gallery a good look, and it's been a while.
Mariners game: It's pricey, but I might end up talking to someone. Mariners are likely to win. They have shishkaberries. I could potentially take a shuttle in instead of parking down there, but that's uncertain.
Century Ballroom: Dancing. God, how I want to go dancing. It's been months. I'm at the point where I'm practically dancing to every damn song on the radio. It's sad. Relatively cheap, but then my friend who went reported mostly couples there, not singles. Given my week, I don't think I could handle going and not getting to dance with anyone. Stupid emotions. Will get to talk to someone if I dance with them, but that's a big if, and if the evening doesn't go well, it'll pretty much kill the rest of the night/weekend for me. It's a big risk for my one night off to go do stuff per week.
Pacific Dance Center: I will get to dance. I will know all the people there. I've already purchased the "practice party" lesson. I'm just... the people there are nice, but no one there runs the slightest risk of hanging out with me afterward, and most of the people there will be the instructors. Also, it's on the eastside and doesn't start until 9 PM. I don't wanna hang out on this side of the lake for another 3+ hours with nothing to do.
Potential other stuff I haven't figured out yet: pretty much speaks for itself, I suppose.
Bah.
