Today's activities
Nov. 10th, 2007 02:50 pmSo today I had great and awesome plans like "go to the Pacific Science Center" or "take the boys to the community center swimming pool," but William was ill, so those plans have all come to naught. Instead, we rounded up all the belatedly unspent Halloween and Birthday money and gift cards the boys had collected and took them all to Toys R Us, where the gift cards were from.
William bought three Bionicle kits (at buy 1, get 1 for 50%), and I helped him a little bit on that. Alisdair was the one who had the big pile of cash, though, and with it, he bought this:

It was a difficult choice between this and the high-end Star Wars sets, apparently, but he's quite pleased with his purchase. We got home, had lunch, and did a speed cleaning tour of their room until we could see a sufficient amount of floor, and now they're building legos with all their might until it's time to go to their dad's house. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
