South Beach, day 4
Sep. 3rd, 2008 01:25 pmToday's Menu
Breakfast: Two eggs, pan fried over medium. Two slices canadian bacon. A couple handfuls of white mushroom slices, grilled along with the bacon. Water.
Morning Snack: 1 triangle of Laughing Cow light cheese
Lunch: 1 Cobb flatbread salad from Quiznos (no bacon, no bread, no dressing, half cheese). I missed the bacon, but although I enjoy the bread, I didn't miss it. I usually skip the dressing, so that was okay.
Afternoon Snack: A handful of grape tomatoes.
Dinner: Tuna salad, cottage cheese, lettuce, avocado, and sundried tomatoes.
Dessert: Plain yogurt (roughly 1 cup) with cinnamon, vanilla extract, and agave nectar (roughly 1 tbsp).
Things I Have Learned
1) I have not had a coke since Saturday. More to the point, I haven't WANTED one. Dear God in Heaven, I can't tell you what a shift this is.
2) I will be weighing myself tomorrow when I go see my trainer. It won't even be a full week yet, so I'm not expecting a lot of change, but I'm feeling different and so who knows? We'll see then what sorts of (likely water) weight I've sloughed off, if any.
3) I'm not having cravings. I fully expected to have cravings. Apparently days 3-6 are the hardest part, but thus far I'm just feeling better.
