[Debate] Out of the mouths of babes...
Oct. 7th, 2008 10:24 pmSo I didn't get to watch the debate tonight (I've got the replay on in the background now) but Alisdair did. It was part of his homework. He had to write a paragraph about what he thought about it.
His points:
1) They repeat themselves a lot.
2) They contradict each other a lot.
3) He felt like he figured out a little of their plans, but not much.
I asked him who he liked best, and he said Obama. I asked why, and he said that he felt like McCain wasn't being truthful about Obama's plans, because how could he know Obama's plan better than Obama? He didn't think McCain was lying, exactly, but was trying to pull out the worst parts to make Obama look bad, and he didn't think that was right.
From what I'm seeing now? I've got a really damn smart boy.
