Got up, had a headache. It got worse throughout the day until early evening before it suddenly went away.Yay for it going away!
My house is by no means 100% clean, but it is a VAST improvement. Vast, I tell you. I even got my car cleaned out, which I suspect has been since the end of last summer.
Skirt is finished, and it doesn't look half bad if I do say so myself. Even better, the mess from making the skirt is cleaned up and my sewing machine is put away. Bonus! I would definitely make this skirt again with some other material. Of course, there's a non-zero chance that the first time I wash it it will shrink and thus not fit me anymore (since it fits so nicely now), but let us not dwell on such depressing thoughts. I will wash it very carefully whenever I do wash it, and that will help a lot.
As it happens, the biggest issue this evening is that my dear, darling eldest son can not sleep. It is now 11 PM or so, and he's calling for me about every ten minutes... which happens to coincide with how long it takes me to ramble around and get my thoughts sorted and be just about ready to start something. I am ready to rip someone's head off, as I absolutely must get progress made tonight but I am tired and, with each passing quarter hour, I'm that much closer to getting too punchy to work anymore.
