So, on Sunday we went to pick up the boys that morning, getting slightly lost on the way because I forgot that Matt doesn't memorize where he's going after he's been there once, and took them bowling afterwards. Will started to get how to make a ball go where he wants to, while Al had a middling game. We adults were jet-lagged and... yeah. On vacation, baby. Wheee!

After bowling, Will wanted to do pizza. Rather than get bowling alley pizza, though, we decided to wait until Stellar opened and go there, since I really wanted Matt and Sarah to try it. We got into the car to leave for the apartment, when we looked across the street and saw a new store in one of the formerly vacant areas of the mall -- Seafood City. Intrigued, we went in. Holy cats. Basically, the gist is this. You walk around and look at whole fish lying on ice, and you don't touch anything. When you find something you want, you catch the eye of a tiny older person who works there and they come get it for you, then take it in the back. There they clean it, fillet it, and even fry it if that's what you want. Genius! The rest of the store is basically an ethnic grocery, with a focus mostly on Asian foods but also with some Hispanic items as well. We shopped for two dinners there (and the prices on stuff were cheap -- score). We got clams and red snapper, both of which Matt did an awesome job with.

From there we went back to the apartment, where we rested for a while. We played Scrabble and Bottle Imp with both boys (Alisdair kicked all our butts at Bottle Imp, and no one suspects that it was beginner's luck). After Stellar opened, we got in the car and went to Georgetown, wherein we had pizza and salad and garlic cheese bread and various beverages. Thoroughly awesome food -- I always enjoy going there. Got to see lots of hipster types with their little kids and without. It was, as always, a great deal of fun.

From there we went home. We stopped over by Molly Moon's and got ice cream, then went home and hung out for the evening. I made a character for Al's Necessary Evil game he wanted to run while Matt made dinner (clam stew! Awesomeness!) and then jet lag caught up with us and we fell over. The boys stayed up a while longer, watching TV and hanging out quietly, and then they headed to bed as well.

Next up, Monday and... whatever we did then! Yay!
