I'm working from home today because I'm sick. Soup is starting to sound really good for lunch.

On the one hand, there's a restaurant that's not too far away that has awesome tomato soup made from scratch. Sooooo good. On the other hand, I'm sick and have canned soup here, which does not actually sound good in the least. Should I be willing to go out in public while ill and have my soup, or should I suck it up and put a can of something in a pot *shudder*, or have a sandwich, or whatever?

I'm totally tardy (of course) but perhaps split the difference and see if you can get some of the fabulous soup to go? That way you minimize your exposure to others, and limit the possibility of infecting your server or whatever, and also increase your likelihood of getting to take the soup home and enjoy it in your "I'm sick so I'm wearing what's comfy and t'hell with what it looks like" clothes.
