I went to the Mariners game tonight, by myself even. I was initially (a few weeks ago) intending to go to my commencement this evening, but I lost track of things and didn't get my robes and such... and nobody else would be there anyway, and did I really want to sit with all those other people? Not really. So instead I found myself at my car after work, a block and a half from the stadium with parking taken care of, and thought, "why not?" So I went to the game, bought a ticket in the Field section (where I got a suddenly available 1st row seat!) and proceeded to watch the Mariners play a pretty darn good game and still lose by one point. Ah well, such is life. But still. It was a good evening to be out, and I'm glad I went.
