So... if I book a flight before October 1st of this year, I have enough airline miles to get a free light within the continental US OR a flight to Hawaii for a mere $150 (to purchase the 6K miles I'm lacking for that award). If I book after, almost all the flight rewards go up by another 5K, which is more than I really have interest in waiting (or paying) to accrue.
That's terribly tempting. If only I weren't spending all my accrued vacation in August to go to Oklahoma for a week. Still.... tempting.
