William is perhaps geekier than I realized. He's trying to come up with a costume and having a hard time deciding. I asked him what he wanted to be, and he said he wanted to be something cool.... something immortal... maybe a god. I thought this was an interesting scenario and asked if he had anyone in mind.
"The god who got killed."
"Um.... can you give me more context?"
"He got killed by a plant."
"Um... more context please."
"You know, because the plant didn't swear not to hurt him."
"Oh, you mean Baldur?"
"Yeah! Him, or maybe Loki, or Odin..."
I'm bemused and amused, and now I'm wondering how exactly one might make an Odin costume for a small boy. :)

Oh, and a beard! Heheh. People might mistake him for Gandalf with an eye patch, but Gandalf was partially modeled from Odin anyway.
