So, my Romanticism professor is having a medical issue and has to drop out for the rest of the quarter. She is also not teaching the senior seminar next quarter either... so there will be one, but the topic and the teacher are up in the air. This is greatly disappointing; I'll probably take it anyway, but I was really looking forward to that particular class. Thursday was her last day, and we had a good class and then everyone hung around and wished her well. When I went up and talked to her, that's when I found out about the class next quarter. That's also when she offered to write a letter recommending me for grad school, whenever it happens that I need one.

Please note that I didn't ask for it; she offered it. I had talked to her about grad school and whatnot before, so she knew I was interested, but that's it. She'd only had me in a class since the beginning of the quarter, which was the end of September, and she still offered to recommend me for grad school. I'm blown away by this. Just... wow.

:)
