So on Veterans Day I woke up feeling like I needed another day of sleep, so I called in and did just that... sleeping in until between noon and 1 in the afternoon. I woke up feeling much better. Made it down to the bank and over to the pharmacy to get things squared away. Guess the flu shot demanded more resources to deal with it.

I got more written on my paper. It's roughly a quarter of the way done -- which is good, but needs more work, obviously. Tonight I'll have to hit that hard once I get the kids in bed. I may break down and have caffiene this evening to help out.

I also vacuumed my living room (yay!) and managed to cook for this week (Beef Daube Provencal to replace the ratatouille I just finished off for lunch), along with doing some dishes.

The diet thing is causing me issues; I can tell I'm slipping. I haven't broken faith with it yet, mind you, but I think I'm going to have to go back to journaling about it for a bit. It'll be easier when my finances get straightened out again -- eating cheap and fast is my downfall, especially when I haven't prepped sufficiently, which requires cheap fast groceries and remembering to pack them. I'd been doing a little better of late, so I just have to double down and make sure I stick to it. I think I may also have to go back to Phase 1 for a little while, or at least strict early phase 2. Sugar's been creeping back in here and there, and I know that's not really acceptable. Even a little makes it so much easier to have more. I don't think I'm having cravings for it yet, but it's something I have to nip in the bud. At least I'm not really having sodas again. Oh! And I've learned to drink unsweetened iced tea! Go me!

YEA UNSWEETENED ICED TEA
Iced tea should not taste like sweet filtered water or, for heavens sake, like sweet lemony goodness.
Iced tea is meant to be a cold brown refreshing drink of simplicity. (well and a slight hint of dog tongue if you're at my house and stupid enough to set your cup on the ground)
Welcome. Welcome to the world of real tasting beverage!
(this message brought to you by Lipton. Lipton direct from the tea gardens to the tea pot. ... ok who has a tea garden? I thought it was field picked?)
