So I made fried rice for the first time tonight. Or, sort of fried rice. Stir-fried veggies in sesame oil, added chilled leftover brown rice, went for the egg and... had no egg. Crap. Found some teriyaki sauce and added that for a little extra flavor, but I wish I'd had the egg. I'll have to try it again some other time. For rice and veggies, though, it wasn't half bad.

*Nod* Fried rice is dead easy to make. I make mine with regular mixed veggies, whatever rice is on hand (although the brown rice from Schwan's is exceptionally tasty), egg and soy sauce. I also add in cut up bits of chicken, usually teriyaki flavored.

If there wasn't turkey soup leftovers still to finish, and other things that need cooking for dinner tonight, I'd likely make some for lunch or dinner today.
