Got through today all right. Met with a couple of former coworkers for lunch and discussed the bleak job hunting situation. Looks like I may be hustling for freelancing work again post haste. I went back to work, finished up with a couple of meetings, and then headed out for the weekend. I decided that I could stand to be out and about for a while, so I went to the mall instead of home. There I cruised the clearance racks and sale items and found a skirt, some jeans, and a couple of sweaters at Penney's.

I also wandered down to H&M, which I hadn't been in before... that's an awesome store with really good price points, and I'm just about down to the size wherein I can shop there. As it was, I managed to find a bra that doesn't kill me and a new nightgown for really cheap.

All in all, I got some good stuff done tonight along with a sushi roll for dinner. It'll be my last splurge for a while, but at least I now have clothes that fit me and will get me through an interview in a presentable fashion.

I wish I knew what to do about everything. It's just so crazy right now. Still, something will turn up, right? Right?
