I have a cold. *sniff*
My children are well. They've spent a lot of time with their dad this week since I had guests in town. Unfortunately this seems likely to continue for a few more days, since I've got class tomorrow.
My dad is doing physically better, but his memory is still like swiss cheese. He remembers who he is, his SSN, who we are, etc. He doesn't remember that we moved, he doesn't remember the town he lived in, he doesn't remember short term stuff (like Mark going to visit him yesterday). He does remember things more easily when he has a concrete action or object to link the memory to. His appetite is better, his tremors are nearly gone, and his pain level remains way down, but he can't remember whether or not he's eaten or what they did that morning. Mom isn't sure when she'll be able to go back to work.... he's still improving, but who knows how long it'll take? Amusingly, one of the things he does remember is that he smoked. He doesn't remember quitting, though. Thankfully there's no addiction symptoms going along with it since he doesn't have cigarettes anymore, as that would be a total nightmare.
Tired. Got a lot to catch up on now that my guests are on their way. It was a great visit, though. I hope the rest of their trip is as successful. :)

Hope you feel better. Making any more music?
