My lilac bush is blooming. I cut some and brought them inside to put in water, and now my whole house smells like lilacs. WIN.

I started knitting a sock a week ago (in addition to the other projects I have going). I'm pretty pleased with this, except that I realized today that I cast on two less stitches than I should have. Since I was only an inch in, I went ahead and ripped the whole thing down and cast back on again. Argh. I have also not gone to buy yarn today, even though all my favorite stores are having sales and I have yarn I really need (NEED) to buy for a gift I will be making for a friend. I am virtuous. Rar. Plus, I will not be done with the socks until I have two of them, as a single sock is not particularly wonderful on its own. But still. The new project calls to me. Sigh.

Have So Many Words to write today. Should be writing them now. Couldn't write them earlier because of kiddos. Some day perhaps I will unlock the magical power to write and be Mom at the same time, but for now it is beyond my grasp. Oh well.
