Accidentally broke one of my double-pointed needles for knitting the sock I'm working on. Argh. Now must buy a new set.

Spent the day with the boys, largely at the skate park. My friend Tarisse met us there and she and I caught up for a bit. It was amazingly good to see her. I don't get to see her enough, something we're both going to try to fix in the future.

Started doing research into graduate programs. It's looking like I'll be checking out Ohio State while I'm at Origins this year.

Realizing I have roughly 60 days to study and take the GRE if I'm going to get everything in order by November to start sending off to various programs for Fall 2010. I could push it later, but I really don't want to wait until the last minute. I also want to not have to worry about work and studying and class stuff all during the Fall quarter, especially with the Honors seminar. Especially since I have to take both the General test (which includes MATH!!!!!!) and the Subject test. Oy veh. At least I get a discount for being unemployed. I am about as freaked out by this as one might imagine, and sorta tempted to chuck it and forget the whole thing, but I think that's just panic talking and should be justly ignored.
